10 harmful beauty tips from the internet to forget about

There is so much you will not find on the Internet - from educational lessons a la cosmetics with your own hands to using products stuck in the bins of refrigerators in order to induce a marafet. And it's good if such "beauty recipes" are created by people who at least understand something in cosmetology, but there are far from the safest methods. And today we'll tell you exactly what you shouldn't do and what you shouldn't use if you want to look your best.

1. Moisturize your face with coconut oil

In many ways, coconut oil is considered one of the best beauty products to use on dry areas of the body, prepare culinary masterpieces with it, and repair damaged hair. However, never apply it on your face as a nourishing essence, as coconut oil clogs pores firmly and reliably, leading to inflammation, acne, dryness and blackheads.

2. Cleanse the skin with lemon or lemon juice

Remember one important thing: lemon juice is an extremely aggressive remedy, one drop of which literally causes a grimace of disgust on the face. Therefore, never try to use lemon juice as an ingredient for masks and scrubs. After all, one has only to go out into the sun, as the skin is covered with burns, blisters, age spots and other "charms". Also, make sure that the peels you buy do not include this ingredient.

3. Make scrubs with large particles (sugar, salt, soda)

Most of the products that are good for the body are absolutely not suitable for the face. And scrubs with uneven, large and sharp crumbs are one of the prime examples. Such exfoliating agents easily injure delicate and sensitive skin of the face and cause unpleasant redness. If you want to use them, then apply exclusively to the body, gently massaging with a washcloth, and for the face, choose more "delicate" consistencies.

4. Use toothpaste as acne remedy

Many will be surprised, but the Internet is full of tips on how to quickly remove acne and red spots, namely, apply a little toothpaste to them. Of course, this method will help to "dry" the problem area, because the toothpaste contains at least soda or peroxide. However, the paste can cause irritation and redness of the skin. Ever felt how sores form when paste gets on your lips? Now just imagine them on your face and cross this "life hack" from your beauty list.

5. Create tightening masks from eggs

This secret has been known for more than one year. However, at the same time, many forget about a simple thing, namely, about Salmonella, which willingly settles in raw eggs and causes a whole list of dangerous diseases. Ditch the idea of   putting this smelly liquid on your face and try a modern lifting cream instead.

6. Use a cream for diaper rash

No cosmetologist or doctor will argue that such a cream is an excellent salvation if diaper rash occurs in small areas. It contains zinc oxide, which “soothes” and cares for even incredibly sensitive skin. However, remember that the composition of such creams is usually quite rich. Take oils and waxes, which, when applied to the face, can cause redness and acne. Use the products strictly for their intended purpose, and never try to experiment.

7. Remove oily skin shine with deodorant

Some "gurus" in the field of personal care, who promote the idea of   cheap and handy means, recommend removing the shine on the skin, sprinkling the most common disinfectant on the face. Which, in general, is wild, strange and harmful to the skin. It should be understood that the antiperspirant does not block the production of sebum, but the secretion of sweat, which can easily cause the skin to become inflamed. But if you urgently need to make your face more matte, and there is no powder or other means at hand, use special napkins - a cheap and safe means.

8. Use anti-acne adhesive

Acne is a problem, with the bark being fought with a huge number of methods, among which you can find the most insane. For example, glue. And your happiness if you use the safer school option for children. However, you still poison your skin with toxins and other chemical elements. Remember, if you have skin rashes or acne, do not immediately order anything from the Internet or listen to beauty bloggers: just go to an experienced doctor.

9. Buy alcohol-based tonics

Alas, such a "vigorous" version of tonics is widespread to this day and will not sink into oblivion. The substances in its composition block the appearance of sebum, but at the same time they dry out the skin, remove all moisture from it, make it cracked and irritated. Remember that dry skin as a result of such a tonic is a big problem that will lead to a loss of softness, elasticity and the appearance of wrinkles. There is also a high probability that the tissues will simply begin to reproduce even more sebum.

10. Fix makeup with hairspray

Many girls think that if the varnish "holds" the hair, then why not entrust it with one more task - to fix the makeup on the face? The answer to this question is quite simple: the development of skin diseases, cracked tissue, peeling and many other delights. And it is also simply dangerous for the eye area, respiratory tract and mouth area. In addition, varnishes contain the maximum amount of harmful substances, the list of which does not fit on your fingers. If you want to "hold" makeup on your face for a long time - use special products in the form of a transparent powder or cosmetic spray.
